His shooting with his strong foot is respectable for a CM. From the edge of the box or when arriving late into space, he can score consistently enough to be a threat.

As a playmaker, this is where Modrić truly shines. His passing range, vision, and decision-making are elite.

On the ball, Modrić is extremely smooth. His close control, quick turns, and responsiveness make him excellent in tight spaces.

Defensively, he’s better than his reputation suggests. His positioning and interceptions are solid.

Physically, Modrić holds his own. He’s not dominant, but he doesn’t get bullied easily either.
