One of his strongest assets, Verdonk offers solid defensive fundamentals. His standing tackles, marking, and positioning make him dependable in 1v1 situations.
He has a strong physical presence for a 110-rated LB. Whether it’s shoulder-to-shoulder duels or jostling for position, he holds his own against tricky wingers.
Verdonk reacts well in tight scenarios, especially during quick counterattacks or defensive transitions.
