Exceptional accuracy on short, long, and through balls perfect for controlling tempo and creating chances.
Very smooth on the ball with quick turns, making him hard to dispossess in midfield.
Moves quickly in transitions and keeps up with fast attacks.
Can score from distance and make late runs into the box effectively.
Contras
3 star weak foot limits passing and shooting consistency when forced onto his off foot.
Can be pushed off the ball by strong CDMs or bulky defenders.
Good for support, but not reliable enough for deep defensive responsibility.

He is a high-class playmaker with outstanding passing, smooth dribbling, and enough pace to support fast transitions. He excels in possession-based systems where he can dictate play and link defense to attack. However, his limited physical presence and average defending prevent him from being a full box-to-box or meta-dominant CDM.
Best used as a creative CM/CAM hybrid who controls tempo, not as a defensive anchor.

Rock solid, holding the LM position down in my team behind Hazard at LW. Only shortcoming is top speed, cannot get away from the demonic pace defenders we see at FC champion level, but he can certainly dribble the pants of them. The heel-to-heel move works a charm once you get it right, and can create many scoring opportunities for you in box and just outside since it rolls the ball into a lot of space. Basically just run down the wing cut in, heel-to-heel and then press shoot. He can also score from distance. Great card, I rate 9.
