Pros
His positioning is easily the strongest part of this card. He tends to be in the right place before the shot even comes in.
He reacts fairly quickly to close-range shots and rebounds. In crowded box situations, especially during corners or chaotic deflections, he can adjust and make secondary saves.
Cons
This is where things start to feel inconsistent. On powerful, well-placed shots toward the corners, his diving sometimes lacks that full stretch animation you’d want.
Handling can be shaky under pressure. Instead of catching cleanly, he may parry the ball back into dangerous areas.
While his basic reactions are decent, his pure reflex saves in extremely tight spaces aren’t top-tier.
Height is a clear drawback. Against tall strikers and top-corner shots, his reach feels limited.
No Long Thrower Trait, without the long throw ability, quick counterattacks from distribution aren’t as effective.
Alternatives

Final Verdict
David Raya is a keeper who relies more on positioning and game intelligence rather than pure athletic dominance.
However, against high-powered attacks, tall strikers, and long-shot spammers, his lack of height, elite diving, and consistent handling can become frustrating.
