Pros

For a right-back, Zanetti offers solid speed. He can keep up with fast wingers and recover quickly in defensive transitions.

Unlike many traditional RBs, Zanetti contributes heavily to the build-up.

Always alert to second balls, loose touches, or quick one-twos around the box.

Strength, stamina, and balance are all very good. He can shoulder attackers off the ball with ease

High/high work rates, perfect for modern full-backs. He will consistently push forward to provide attacking support, but still has the stamina and awareness to drop back into position defensively.

Dives into tackles trait, helps him execute auto-blocks and last-ditch challenges more effectively, making him a nuisance for attackers in 1v1 scenarios.

2 star skill noves, severely limits his dribbling creativity in advanced areas.

Despite being strong in-game, he is not worth the heavy investment. Considering his rating (111 OVR), spending coins or resources on him doesn’t provide long-term value, especially since he will soon be overshadowed by higher-tier cards.

Javier Zanetti is the definition of a rock-solid, all-round full-back. He combines pace, defensive intelligence, and physical strength with excellent work rates that allow him to influence both ends of the pitch. The biggest drawback is his cost versus longevity. While he plays like a premium RB right now, the meta will soon outdate him.
