Pros

This version of Trent has received a significant boost in speed, making him much more effective in transitions.

One of Trent’s most elite qualities. Even as a right-back, his passing is elite-tier, rivaling top midfielders. His vision, curve, crossing, and long passing are phenomenal.

Defensively, this version of Trent has seen a noticeable upgrade. His positioning, standing tackles, and interception stats are solid, making him more trustworthy in 1v1 situations.

While not as strong as brute-force full-backs like Walker or Dumfries, Trent still has enough strength and aggression to push off lighter wingers and hold his ground.

One of his best attributes. Trent has high stamina, allowing him to bomb up and down the right flank all game long.

He feels extremely smooth on the joystick. His dribbling, ball control, and composure make him a joy to use.

Cons

High/medium work rates, while not a disaster, the High/Medium work rates can sometimes pull him too far forward. If caught out of position, he may struggle to recover in time, especially against pacey counter-attacks. You’ll need to manually control his positioning or use custom tactics to mitigate this.

3 star skill moves, this limits his creativity in advanced positions. While his passing and dribbling are elite, you can’t use advanced skill moves.

Alternatives

Final Verdict

113 RB Trent Alexander-Arnold is an exceptional right-back and a true hybrid between a wide playmaker and a defensive full-back. He fits perfectly in both 4-back and 5-back formations, If you’re building a team around possession, playmaking, or overlapping width, Trent is a must-have. Just watch his positioning occasionally, and you’ll have one of the most consistent RBs on the pitch.
