Pros
Beasley’s pace is one of his standout features, as expected from a player known for speed throughout his career.
For an LM, Beasley has surprisingly effective shooting with his strong (left) foot. He can cut inside from the wing and unleash shots from tight angles or at the edge of the box.
Beasley serves well as a creative wide outlet. His short passing, crossing, and quick link-ups make him a reliable playmaker from the flanks.
Beasley is very smooth on the ball, and this is arguably his best technical trait. His dribbling is close and clean, allowing him to move through tight spaces or hold possession near the sideline.
Surprisingly, Beasley offers decent defensive work, especially for an LM. He tracks back, applies pressure, and helps out his fullback when needed.
Physically, he’s stronger than he looks, with a low center of gravity and good upper body resistance.
His stamina is excellent, allowing him to sprint and recover repeatedly across the 90 minutes.
Cons
4-star right foot being an LM, as a left-footer on the left wing, he can sometimes be predictable.
3-star skill move, limits his creativity and flair in 1v1 situations.
Not an elite finisher, he can score, but isn’t clinical or consistent inside the box when compared to inside forwards or attacking mids.

Final Verdict
DeMarcus Beasley is an energetic, agile, and reliable LM who thrives in wide roles where pace, dribbling, and tactical work rate matter more than fancy skills or finesse finishes. His ability to contribute both offensively and defensively makes him a great pick for balanced or high-press systems. If you're looking for a winger who offers directness, smooth dribbling, and nonstop running.
