Avantages
While not known for raw speed, Iñigo Martínez has solid short-distance acceleration.
A key strength of Iñigo’s game is his positional intelligence. He reads the game well, tracks attackers diligently, and rarely gets dragged out of position.
Though not overly imposing, Martínez is sturdy, combative, and holds his ground well in duels.
Martínez is calm and accurate in possession, capable of breaking lines with passes into midfield or playing diagonal balls to wide players.
Inconvénients
Medium defensive work rates. While positionally smart, he doesn’t always press with urgency or chase down attackers when play gets stretched.
Acceleration aside, his top-end speed is limited, making him vulnerable in situations that demand extended recovery runs.
Standing at approximately 6'0" (182cm), Martínez is on the shorter side for a center-back. This limits his impact both defensively and offensively in aerial scenarios.
Alternatives

Verdict final
Iñigo Martínez, although a high rated option with Decent traits, is best suited for possession-based teams that prioritize organization and composure over physical dominance. He’s not ideal for teams playing a high defensive line or demanding high-tempo pressing from their back line. He’s best deployed alongside a more athletic partner who can cover behind when necessary.
