Avantages

For a center-back, Tah has more than adequate pace.

While he won’t catch lightning-fast strikers in long sprints, his acceleration and top-end speed are good enough to keep up in most defensive situations.

One of Tah’s underrated strengths is his quick reaction time.

In fast-paced scenarios, loose balls, rebounds, or sudden directional changes, he responds promptly and doesn’t get caught flat-footed.

Tah’s core defensive stats are consistently top-tier. He’s composed in 1v1s, rarely overcommits, and excels at clean challenges.

Tah is a powerhouse physically. At 6'5" (195 cm) and with a strong build, he wins nearly every physical duel.

Inconvénients

This is his most notable drawback. Low attacking and medium defensive work rates mean Tah sometimes lacks aggression in stepping up or covering space proactively.

Jonathan Tah is a rock-solid, physically dominant defender who provides consistency at the back. His size, strength, and defensive fundamentals make him a no-nonsense center-back who can reliably shut down most attackers. However, his low/medium work rates mean he’s better suited to a more controlled defensive system, where you don’t rely heavily on AI aggression.
