Avantages

Beukema is surprisingly quick for a central defender. His pace gives him an advantage in making runs behind.

(6'2" / 188 cm) his height makes him very useful in aerial duels, both defensively when clearing crosses and offensively during set-pieces.

This is his core strength. His tackling is clean, interceptions are sharp, and he positions himself well to shut down attacks.

Strong and composed, Beukema doesn’t get bullied by physical strikers. He can shoulder opponents off the ball, win ground duels, and impose his presence.

Inconvénients

While he’s good in physical and defensive aspects, his reaction speed can sometimes let him down. Against very agile or unpredictable attackers, there’s a small delay in how quickly he adjusts. This means sharp dribblers or quick one-twos can occasionally catch him out.

Beukema is a reliable defensive option, strong, tall, and quick enough to handle most threats. Not flawless, but a dependable CB who will rarely let you down. The only thing holding him back from being a top-tier CB is his reaction speed, which makes him slightly less sharp against very quick or technical attackers. However, if paired with a CB who has excellent agility/reactions, Beukema’s presence becomes even more valuable.
