Introduction
Captains is one of those events that gives plenty of free shards but only a limited number of cards to choose from. The event features both Live OVR Icons and regular cards. For F2P players, it’s not really worth considering the Greatest Captains chapter as part of this event.

1. Main Chapter
The Main Chapter works mainly as a navigation hub where you can track the Live OVR Icons.
2. Totti Chapter
In this chapter, you’ll play three Skill Games and one PvE Match to collect Captains Tokens. While doing this, you can also complete quests to earn extra resources and, most importantly, Captains Shards.
Finishing all 6 Key Matches in this chapter rewards you with the Totti Captain Armband and a User Logo.
Pro Tip: Play the Skill Games and PvE Matches daily, and you’ll be able to fully complete this chapter by the 6th day. Keep playing on the 7th day to collect even more Captains Tokens.
Total Captains Tokens you can earn from 7 days of grinding: 2,990
3. Iniesta Chapter

4. Chiellini Chapter

5. Dunga Chapter

6. Rewards Chapter
Here, you can spend 1,500 Captains Tokens to unlock one of three Live Icons. You can only choose one, and that Icon will receive Live OVR upgrades - so choose wisely.
In the “Recruit Your Team” section, a new Icon Reward Path unlocks every week. You can use your Captains Tokens on these paths to collect resources and Captains Shards.
To complete one full Icon Reward Path, you’ll need 2,500 Captains Tokens.
If you don’t want to grind through the Icon-specific chapters for Captain Armbands, you can instead spend 1,000 Captains Tokens in the “Great Armband Collector” section to directly exchange for an Armband.
Collecting all four Captain Armbands gives you a free 108-111 OVR Captains Card.
7. Gallery Chapter
This is the main chapter where you spend your hard-earned Captains Shards to exchange for Captains Cards.
While the Greatest Captains part of the event feels underwhelming, the upside is that you can still collect a large number of free shards. With good grinding, it’s possible to claim up to 2x 111 OVR Captains Cards from the Gallery.
Important
DO NOT OPEN THIS PACK.
Open this pack during the 4th week of the event when all Icons receive their Live OVR upgrades. Monitor the Icons closely and claim the Icon with the highest OVR upgrade.
This way, you can also exchange the Icon for Shards.
Shards Calculation
Pro Tip: Play the event regularly to ensure you have enough Captains Tokens to spend on the reward path. Also, make sure to complete the Weekend Challenge and grind Division Rivals to maximize your Shards.
