Very dependable with simple combinations and one-twos. Good for tidy build-up from the back and keeping possession under pressure.

Reads plays quickly and reacts well to loose balls or quick cutbacks, which helps him win 50/50s and make timely interceptions.

Strong tackler and positioning; he’s comfortable in 1v1s when the attacker is forced inside and rarely gets caught out by simple runs.
