His shooting on his strong foot is very reliable. Wirtz excels at placed shots from the edge of the box and quick finishes after arriving late into attacking positions.

This is his biggest strength. Wirtz is an absolute playmaker in every sense, his vision, passing accuracy, and timing are top-tier.

Wirtz feels extremely smooth on the ball. His agility allows him to turn quickly under pressure, evade defenders in tight spaces, and create passing angles even when surrounded.

While not overly physical, his balance is solid enough to keep him upright during light contact.
