Arguably one of the best passing centre-backs in the game, Bastoni is a top-tier left-footed distributor.

His calmness on the ball is one of his standout traits. His composure helps maintain shape and flow even when pressed aggressively.

Defensively intelligent, Bastoni positions himself well to intercept passes and avoid unnecessary challenges. His anticipation helps compensate for his lack of top-end pace.

Bastoni is comfortable in both a back 3 and back 4. In a back 3, he thrives as the central blocker.
